Please, Oh Please, Let the Rumours Be True

The Sun is not exactly the most reliable newssource, but I really want this article to be true (because I heart Razorlight)!

According to an article in the Sun:

NOEL FIELDING has invited his nemesis JAMIE HINCE to perform at THE MIGHTY BOOSH festival.

THE KILLS have been added to the bill of the madcap bash at The Hop Farm in Kent on July 5 — being organised by Noel and comedy partner JULIAN BARRATT.

There’s little love lost between Jamie and Noel as KATE MOSS’s other half reckons the funnyman is a bad influence on his bandmate ALISON MOSSHART.

But Noel has thrown caution to the wind and invited the group to play.

Noel and Julian have had very little time to sort out the event but they seem to have pulled it off.

Most acts confirm festival appearances more than six months in advance and Noel was seriously concerned that they wouldn’t be able to fill the bill.

He said: “I was beginning to think ‘Oh c***’ but it’s looking good now.”

GARY NUMAN, RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE and RAZORLIGHT have all confirmed they want a piece of the psychedelic action.

With Boosh character Naboo reading palms and the likes of PEACHES and PIXIE GELDOF swanning about, it’ll be the real deal.

And Noel is pinning his hopes on a singalong with legendary Brit singer and composer Gary for the grand finale.

He said: “I’m going to try and do a duet with Gary. That would be a dream.

“Julian loves him too and would be well up for it.”

Noel is a top bloke and the event will be a triumph.

Numan on stage with The Boosh? I’d pay just to see that.

Of course, RatM confirmed they AREN'T going to be playing . . . lets hope that Razorlight doesn't do the same.
